If your children love to sing, you need to sign them up for the DC3 Children’s Choir. Ages 4 and up are welcome.  The choir meets most Sundays in the church gymnasium, between 10:00 and 10:30 am.

In 2011, the choir was invited to perform on 100 Huntley Street, at the Crossroads studios in Burlington. This was an experience that they we will all treasure for years to come.

In 2012 we were also able to bless a room full of Seniors at Christmas time, with a 45-minute mini concert at Amica Senior’s Home, Mississauga.

During 2014 we had to say farewell to the original chlidrens choir leaders - husband-wife team, Donna and Andy Parisien - as Andy became the interim site pastor at our Westway Campus.

We were lucky to welcome another husband and wife team to direct the chldrens choir.  Darryl and Cheryle Dueck have taken on the role with fantastic enthusiasm.  They both have extensive experience in the music industry with Cheryle singing as a soloist, in worship teams, ensembles and choirs.  The choir have performed at DC3 during Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day and at Christmas.

2014 has been a fantastic year of outreach for the children's choir thanks to all the volunteer work of Darryl and Cheryle and the great choir kids parents.  The choir performed during the summer in Gage Park, Brampton at the Inspirational Music In The Park evening.   The choir was amazing and we are sure several people were blessed by their singing.

Then in the winter 2014 the children's choir participated in two amazing community events.  The first was the Streetsville Christmas Tree lighting event, the children were able to share truly inspiration songs with all those in attendance.

Then just a few weeks later in December the children's choir performed at the first ever Mississauga News Olde Tyme Christmas event held at the Erin Mills Auto Mall.  The children shared several sessions of singing Christmas Carols, and the event was a great outpouring of the community, we trust many people were blessed by the songs the children shared.

Through singing, Cheryle hopes to help people, Christian or non-Christian, to know and experience who Christ is through music.   The reward is seeing people’s faces, and knowing that we brought a little hope and joy to their day.
